  • Normal fault system linkage and displacement distribution
  • Fault-related folds in extension (Rhine Graben)
  • Reconstruction of rift and rift shoulder vertical movement histories
  • Interaction between sedimentary processes and deformation (for example, Gilbert delta deposition in the hanging wall of active normal faults)
  • Geometric and kinematic evolution of external fold and thrust belts and their foreland basins
    • 3D modelling of thrust-sheet-top basins and syn-sedimentary folds (Pyrenees, Alps)
